| Georgian early 19th century beautifully figured mahogany longcase or tall case grandfather clock, with fluted double columns flanking the painted dial, above double ogee-topped long door flanked by fluted columns, and box base with decorative line inlay; housing an eight-day bell strike movement, a break-arch dial with floral spandrels, rolling moon phase, seconds dial and calendar aperture. Signed by Armstrong of Manchester. English, circa 1810. The Rimbault family were London clockmakers throughout the 18th century, Paul Rimbault being active 1767-85.
